We just weren't clinical enough and I would say that's been our issue this season. We're scoring the goals to win games but not scoring the goals to kill off games and really improve our goal difference. We need to be more clinical as in the champions league or in the remaining games our wastefulness with the chances we have might bite us in the arse. Fergie targeted 25 goals for 3 of our strikers and i reckon had they been at their clinical best and had a better conversion rate they might have hit that target already.

Also had they been at their clinical best I don't doubt the Madrid tie would've been near enough in the bag.
