I really wanted to see this but will have to settle for the highlights i just saw. We appeared to play well and take our chances, a very nice goal for Berbatov and the Valencia-Rooney partnership is working really well and though Hernandez never meant to hit the ball into his face ( a nice little bit of humour during a tense game ) anyone who says it was luck is being rediculous ( not a pop at the Chelsea fans on the website just the ones in my area ) as he clearly would've scored it even if it hadn't bounced back off his head. A good result and good start to the season, a good omen as well as it appears the team that win the Charity Shield oftenly go on to win the league nowadays.
