1 - Carrick transferred from Tottenham Hotspur to Manchester United for a fee of 18 million in 2006.

2 - Carrick was a key member of the United team when they won the Premier League in 2006/07 season.

3 - Carrick has earned himself 35 international caps but, as of 2015, has been unsuccessful in scoring an international goal.

4 - Carrick made his debut for Manchester United on 4th August 2006 in a friendly victory over Porto in the Amsterdam Tournament.

5 - Carrick scored his first Manchester United goal on 13th January 2007, in a game against Aston Villa which United won 3-1.
