Interesting Facts -

1 - Blind transferred from Ajax to Manchester United in September 2014, for a transfer fee of £13.8 million.

2 - Blind has earned25 caps during his international career and was part of the Dutch squad that finished in third place in the World Cup in 2014.

3 - Daley`s father, Danny Blind, is also a former Ajax player and is currently the manager for the national Netherlands team.

4 - On 5th January 2010, Blind temporarily joined the Groningen team until the 2009-2010 season had finished. During this time, Ajax almost sold him to Groningen permanently for a fee of €1.5 million but the move never took place.

5 - In November 2014, Blind suffered from a knee ligament injury during the Netherlands game against Latvia in the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifier. This injury kept Blind off of the Manchester United team for the remainder of 2014 in order to heal.
