'Chelsea Have To Collapse'

Ruud van Nistelrooy says the only hope of another Premiership medal this season is if Chelsea collapse.

van Nistelrooy: 'Who said we gave up? It hasn't changed.

'We want to continue the way we are playing - like in the first half - and see what will happen.

'Chelsea have to collapse but we have to focus on our own performance, collecting three points as much as we can.

'We were very good in the first half but I would prefer not to talk about the second. We deserved to concede a goal because our second-half performance was not very good.

'I guess there can be no complaints about the entertainment value and we have given ourselves something to build on.

'But now, we have two massive games coming up and we will have to play well for 90 minutes against Liverpool.'

I don't think it will happen this season but hopefully if Chelsea end the season poorly that will continue into next season...
