Manucho To Get Work Permit?
Press reports suggest Manucho may get the work permit needed to finalise his move to Manchester United.
There was talk that the striker would be loaned out but after he scored a spectacular goal yesterday at the African Cup of Nations for Angola, it has changed.
United hope that they will be able to secure the work permit for the 24-year-old and evidence such as this is set to help them in that case.
It is unclear what Fergie's plans are. He hasn't told us yet whether he thinks Manucho is prepared for first-team football at Old Trafford - surely the step we ask from him is quite big? We'll see, though, I hope he gets the work permit.
