'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rooney Needs Only A Glance At Tevez

It's Wayne Rooney talking again: he claims he's got a great understanding with Carlos Tevez, Actim Index's top Premiership performer.

Well, it's obvious on the pitch and clear if you look at the stats: they scored 15 goals in 11 games between each other and easily laughed off the claims they would not be able to play together.

"We don`t talk to each other very much because we don`t speak the same language, but that doesn`t matter when you are playing with a great talent like Carlos," Rooney told Manchester Evening News.

"We do a lot of hard work together on the training pitch, but the understanding between us seems to be very natural anyway.

"It`s all about eye contact. It`s just a glance here or a nod there and we instinctively know what the other one is going to do and when and where we want the ball to be played."

Long may this partnership flourish!

mufc-henry
Yeahh totally agree they are the best around at the moment in the prem and also rooney isnt even at his best so it will be better when he is !
Jakk-United-2007
the question is, will opponents find out how to stop them? or their pace and technique makes that impossible when they are on song?
Vidicinho
Nobody is unstoppable but with their pace and fluid interchanges, it will be bloody hard to figure out any safe receipt to stop them. That's why they're so valuable for us.
Zae
if you throw ronaldo in there then we are as unstoppable as any team can get
