Jonny Evans Arrested

Jonny Evans Arrested

Jonny Evans was taken into custody upon allegations of rape.

Please forgive me for not describing in length what happened during the players' Christmas party. The red tops had a field day with it but I'm not really interested in these kind of things to be honest.

However, there is one significant aspect of this. A 26-year-old woman claims she had been raped in the hotel where several United players were drinking at the time.

Details emerged slowly but now it's known that Jonny Evans has been taken into custody and will be questioned upon the allegations. The young Northern Irish central defender denied any wrongdoing in the matter. The woman in question will also be quizzed.

This is the umpteenth such case, our very own Cristiano Ronaldo was accused two years ago but was never charged. I firmly believe that a lot of these cases are simply made up. Therefore, I believe Jonny is innocent until proven otherwise.
