Silvestre Wants To Stay

Silvestre Wants To Stay

Mikael Silvestre stated that he wants to stay at Manchester United at least until his contract expires in June 2009.

The French defender is currently recovering from a knee injury he suffered against Everton back in September and is expected to be back in the fold around March. He missed a large chunk of last season, too, because of injury but these problems do not lessen his desire for playing football.

'I do not plan to leave the club,' he told Canal Plus TV station.

'I want to stay, at least until the end of my contract in June 2009.'
