Anderson Is The Special One

Anderson Is The Special One

Sir Alex holds Anderson in very high regard following a string of outstanding performances from the youngster.

Sorry guys, I've been off for two days due to some duties in my offline life but we are back and we are back with stating that Anderson is really good. Well, no United fan who actually watches games will think it's news but Fergie praised the youngster and that deserves a mention methinks.

'Anderson has been absolutely superb,' he is quoted on SkySports.

'The boy has definitely got something special.

'There was an urgency to get him once we'd scouted him, even though he had broken his leg and had been out for four or five months. The reports we were getting were saying that he was the best young player in the world.

'I knew he had real potential but I didn't want to put labels on him like that. But we have been delighted with him and he has proven himself to be a true central midfield player.

'He can tackle, he is lightening quick, he's brave and he can pass the ball. What he's got to prove is his goalscoring ability because that's something that Scholesy has always given us.'

So far, nobody can disagree with the auld man but here comes the tricky part. We have arrived to the subject of Cesc Fabregas v our own Anderson. And Fergie's opinion is bound to blow up some Arsenal fans' minds.

'Anderson's battle with Cesc Fabregas against Arsenal was interesting because they were two very influential players in the game,' he said.

'The boy Fabregas is going through a golden period at Arsenal, but I thought that Anderson dominated that position.'

That's the spirit, Fergie! Tell 'em they are not as good as they think! But seriously, before anyone start slagging off our boss, please note that he never said Anderson is already a better player than the little Spaniard. He only stated that he though the Brazilian performed better in that particular game... and despite the fact that Fabregas scored, I can't disagree with him.

Smokie, you were obviously too busy smoking away everything to watch United games... which is not, of course, a problem for me but then you should not make bold but stupid statements about our players. Anderson is fantastic, the brightest prospect of the Premiership at the moment, he's already playing very well only a few months into his Old Trafford career.

he'll be better than fabregas with more prem experience because he's stronger and can tackle as well while his passing matches fabregas's.
