Fergie blasts Wembley (AUDIO)

Despite holding a press conference ahead of the trip to Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson found himself talking exclusively about the current farce surrounding the England national team.

Fergie doesn't hide his shock at the dreadful condition of the Wembley pitch and says for the most expensive stadium in the world he knew England would struggle against a confident Croatian side.

However he gave his backing to axed boss Steve McClaren and believes he will bounce back from the disappointment of losing his job.
