Bolton v United - Team News!

Bolton v United - Team News!

United take on Bolton Wanderers without Wayne Rooney and and prepare for the game with doubts over Nemanja Vidic's fitness.

Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed that Rooney has resumed light traning but won't be available neither tomorrow nor on Tuesday against Sporting - but should be back for the visit of Fulham on the Monday after next.

Nemanja Vidic picked up a back injury with the Serbian national squad and did not even make the bench against Poland on Wednesday. If he's fit, he won't feature against Kazakhstan in Serbia's meaningless Euro qualifier but will play at the Reebok instead.

And so will Carlos Tevez despite confessing himself exhausted after playing for Argentina and getting himself sent off on Wednesday. However, it seems Ferguson and his staff believe he's in a suitable condition to start a Premier League game.

Of course there is still no Gary Neville who is set to take part in the Reserves' trip to Sunderland on Thursday. Apart from Vidic, no fresh injury doubts emerged from the internationals. And that's good.
