Giggs Set For The Bench

Ryan Giggs is likely to be on the bench for Manchester United after recovering from a hamstring injury.

The Welshman has missed the last two games after limping out of the win over Liverpool, but he has returned to training and Sir Alex Ferguson is hopeful the 32-year-old will suffer no reaction.

Alan Smith is available again after an ankle injury, but Rio Ferdinand misses out through suspension.

Michael Brown, signed from Tottenham for 2million this week, will make his Fulham debut against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Manager Chris Coleman has announced that Brown will be the midfield replacement for Sylvain Legwinski, who could be out for a fortnight after damaging his ankle in Tuesday's 1-0 home victory over Tottenham.
