Gary To Return... Really?

Gary To Return... Really?

Gary Neville will make his comeback in Thursday's reserve clash against Stockport County.

The Reserves will play a Senior Cup clash against Stockport and it now looks almost certain that the skipper, not featuring since the 4-1 win over Bolton on March 17, will be included in the team.

Sir Alex had admitted earlier that Gary was fit but needed games to build up his match fitness after six months' absence. He was even touted to make the bench against Boro but as the boss said, a reserve outing was more likely and that's what he'll get.

With Wes Brown playing well and Danny Simpson providing good backup, Gary admitted he would have a difficult time in getting back to the team - but I say first let him get through that reserve game after so many false dawns. With all our injury problems, his return could be a real boost.
