Gibson Joins Wolves
Irish midfielder Darron Gibson has joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on a three-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old Republic of Ireland international impressed during pre-season and though he missed quite a lot of time through injury, Mick McCarthy believes he'll be a useful asset for Wolves.
'Darron is a talented midfielder that will bring us real competition for places in central midfield,' the manager told the official Wolves website.
'He is only 19 but he is a good player and has a good range of passing.'
Gibson did not feature in that horrible Carling Cup game but Sir Alex apparently does not think he's ready for first-team football at United, even with Owen Hargreaves, Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick all injured.
Good luck to Gibson of course, hopefully he'll improve and stake a claim for a place in the first team squad. I would love if we brought a quality central midfielder through the ranks.
