Edwin Back For Villa Game

Edwin Back For Villa Game

United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar will be back for our away game with Aston Villa on October 20.

He will sit out the international break after suffering a toe injury at Birmingham City but will be available after that. Seeing that we have only a home game against Wigan and that Kuszczak did well against Roma, we have no reasons to worry.

'He picked up an injury training with Holland some weeks ago and it's resurfaced,' Fergie told United Radio.

'We'll give him a few days' break and it looks like we'll have him back for our trip to Villa Park.

'Every time a player goes down holding his foot these days you get people talking about metatarsals, but it's not that. It's a toe injury and he should be back in a couple of games.'

Personally, I think you're better without him - he's become dodgy!

That's not true, merlin, he's been playing very well during the last month.
