Same Old Top Four Again...

Same Old Top Four Again...

Gary Neville believes the usual suspects will occupy the Champions League places come May, despite good starts from Blackburn, Manchester City or Newcastle.

United and Chelsea have already lost games and fell a bit behind their rivals but our skipper insists it's way too early to say one of the big four will fall out of the elite.

'It will all settle down in the next couple of months and I am sure it is going to be the same four battling for the championship again,' he told MUTV.

'We have only had four or five games so far and it is too early to start making assessments.

'Over the next couple of months, once the big teams start to play each other, it will start to pan out where we will all go.

'We just need to make sure we are in amongst it because we proved last season if we get up there we are difficult to knock off the top.'

There were the usual comments about how we must keep up the pace at the early stages and not fall too far behind and while it's true, it's predictable and boring now, for every team that has a slow start come out with slogans like this. Hopefully we won't have to chase shadows all season, though.
