League Decided To Cheer Us Up

League Decided To Cheer Us Up

United are in dire trouble thanks to unbelievably profligate finishing but at least Gabriel Heinze won't be allowed to move to Liverpool.

It's been good to see Frazier Campbell make his debut but it smelled of desperation, just as I do. I quite hate football at the moment (though I still love United) so it's rather fortunate that we have news to cheer up ourselves.

Gabriel Heinze won't be allowed to move to Liverpool though that's his heart desire. He will now stay or go abroad, he has no other choice I believe.

'The Premier League Board appointed panel have heard submissions of evidence from both parties and has ruled to dismiss the player's case,' said a Premier League statement. It reasoned that the letter in question is only an evidence of an intention to negotiate but does not create any legal relations between the club and the player. In normal language: United are obliged to nothing at all just because Heinze's got a letter saying the club is prepared to let him go for Ł6.8m.

A United spokesman told the official website: 'We are pleased that the panel has endorsed its case.'

We are pleased, too. I know it's not much but imagine the alternative: two days after we absolutely tear City apart yet somehow end up losing, our left back moves to LIVERPOOL of all teams. Would probably kill myself or some of my neighbours.

Yeah, brilliant Idea, let´s get ourslefs one of the most disgrunteld left backs in the world. (If he wasn´t allready, then he sure as hell is now)

Well, the outcome is surely the best for all parties, except Liverpool?
