Savage Causes Fracas

The FA will await the report of referee Graham Poll before deciding whether to further investigate a fracas in the players' tunnel during half-time of last night's Carling Cup semi-final between Manchester United and Blackburn.

Mark Hughes claims Rio Ferdinand 'clipped' Robbie Savage as they left the field, which led to the majority of the other players becoming involved.

Mark Hughes: 'Rio has gone off the pitch and clipped Robbie.

'Why he has needed to do that I don't know. Obviously, Robbie then went to ask him why he had done that.

'That then led to everybody making sure nothing else happened, which it didn't.'

Morning Men, Now this sort of behaviour simply will not do. If I had my way, you would all be facing a court marshal forthwith. However, I think we can safely say that this Savage was clearly the instigator in what can only be described as 'hand bags at half time'. Perhaps one of our men did clip the Savage, but we must ask ourselves this... Who doesn't clip Robbie Savage these days?
