Rooney Fractures Foot!

BREAKING NEWS: Wayne Rooney has fractured his left foot during Utd's 0-0 draw at Old Trafford and will be sidelined for a while.

As if the result hadnt left United fans dissapointed already, news of Rooneys injury is sure to sink heads futher into hands, with the talismanic striker out for weeks to come.

Rooney will miss United's premiership matches until late September at the least, also leaving him out of the running for England's crucial Euro qualifiers and also the beggining of United's champions leauge campaign.

This news comes as a great dissappointment, ans with Saha and Solskjear out, and Tevez not expected to play until the Manchester derby, this leaves United with no recognised striker and on the evidence of todays display, we will struggle.

Whether Tevez is called in quicker or Sir Alex decides to re-visit the transfer market is yet unknown, but be sure any developments will be found here as soon as they occur.
