Fergie Reveals Rossi Clause

Fergie Reveals Rossi Clause

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that United agreed to put a clause in Rossi's contract with Villarreal, which could see him move back to Old Trafford.

Speaking to MUTV, Ferguson said that it was a tough desicion to let Rossi leave and wished him well, before revealing that Rossi may still have a part to play at Old Trafford in the Future.

'We had several meetings with him to convince him that he would get plenty of football here, but that he may have to be a bit patient.'

'He wanted to have a go at first-team football, so it was a difficult decision.'

'We wish him well, he is a good lad. He has always been a good professional. He's going to a good club. We sold Diego Forlan to Villarreal and he recently left for Atletico Madrid. It's a well-run club with good ambitions.'

'I know he'll do well. We've got a clause in his contract where he could come back to us at some point. We covering oursleves in every way.'

So, we could still see more of Rossi in the future at Old Trafford!!!
