Tevez Deal Nears Completion

Carlos Tevez could become a Manchester United player in the next 48 hours if Kia Joorabchian and West Ham United can agree to a compensation fee.

Newspapers report that the Premier League accepts that Tevez's value for West Ham has decreased due to the fact he refused their offer and does not want to play for the team and because Alan Curbishley is planning the new season without him.

Therefore, only Kia Joorabchian must accept that he is due to pay compensation for West Ham United. The man of MSI is ready to pay £100,000 but it is believed that West Ham are holding out for £5 million - that amount would satisfy them and they would break up Tevez's contract and cancel his registration.

In that case, United must pay Joorabchian a fee that is a lot closer to his market value than that £5m - so, the only remaining worry is whether West Ham and Joorabchian can agree a compensation. Hopefully, they will do that.

God, wish he'd leave already.

i know what you mean russianhammer, this long delay has been negative for all parties involved, man utd are frustrated because thay cant get thier man, tevez wants to move but is being denied, MSI are beginning to look like a bit of a joke, and west ham cant get on with proper pre-season preparations because as curbishley said "everyday is a tevez day". hopefully this last twist is final and a deal that benefits everyone can be agreed.
