Yet another good pre-season game and more words of praise from the gaffer: Fergie is pleased with today's victory.
The Asian tour is surely great for financial reasons but hopefully, it's professional values will be just as significant. Today's opponents were poor - but SAF is satisfied.
"In the first half again we were pleased with the speed of the play," he said. "It was a good start, and the first half saw our best moments. The energy, movement and intensity of our game was good, but the humidity and the heat can slow you down. It was hot out there, I felt it myself on the bench!
"It was a good result and a good performance against a team with a lot of speed in their team. We had to be aware of that because they created a few chances for themselves in the second half. In the main we are pleased."
'In the second half Seoul got far more possession than we did and we resorted to more counter-attacking play.'
'You have to take all the good out of it that you can. It was a fantastic crowd, they were well entertained and there was a good atmosphere. I think we've made a big impact here.'
He remarked how pleased he was with the performances of Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo who were both on target against Seoul and praised the impact of Chris Eagles.
'Rooney changed position quite a lot which gave them problems in the first half so that was quite a positive point for us.'
'Chris Eagles has matured and improved a lot since he came back from his loan spell. He's still only 20 years of age and he has got a great future ahead of him.'
Well, he'll be 22 this November but let's hope he indeed has a great future. It's unlikely to be realised at United where, as a winger, he'll find his opportunites extremely limited but I believe he could develop into a fine Premiership player.
