'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Carlos Tevez, Part 478

The Argentinian striker's medical has been blocked by West Ham but we now know Rooney would love to play alongside him.

Fergie misteriously claimed that 'things are bowling along' in the Tevez-case - well, true as West Ham blocked the striker's arranged medical.

The two clubs still could not agree though all sources suggest that talks are going on in a grand manner behind the scenes. I foresee two scenarios.

First, we simply run out of time and patience and the deal falls through due to the reluctance of the Premier League and West Ham United. In that case, we'll turn our attention to another forward or keep Smith and Rossi.

The second version is that we eventually agree with the Hammers - in a breathtaking price that would be massively over the odds. I believe this will happen.

However, the official website's journalists are not nervous type of people: with breathtaking cheek, they asked Wayne Rooney if he will relish playing alongside Carlos Tevez - who is not a signed Manchester United player yet.

Wayne, of course, replied that he wants nothing more and praised his future (?) teammate. Still, the light at the end of the tunnel is frustratingly far away. Who knows when we can expect a breakthrough?
