Tevez To Join On Loan

Carlos Tevez is having a medical in Venezuela and the club will announce his signin on a loan deal later today, according to reports.

Sky's sources suggested that Carlos Tevez is very close to becoming a Manchester United player - on a two-year loan deal, with the option of buying him once the initial agreement expires.

He will cost over 30 million in fee and wages over the five years but it seems the Glazers are undisturbed by the fact that we have a massive debt on our hands.

The reports claimed that Tevez will complete a medical today in Venezuela, at the Copa America and then the club will announce the completion of the deal.

Well guys, it appears that the only question now is when will Tevez join? Hos ownership issue has been solved, according to Daily Mail. The paper claims that West Ham have declined the opportunity of signing the player and have given written permission to his advisor, Kia Joorabchian to start negotiations with other clubs.

So, what do you think? Are you happy that United are almost certain to capture a world-class striker?

All sounds a bit dodgy this loan stuff, why would West Ham loan their best player? Obviously Tevez aint theirs and they would be found out if utd bought him, Prem league get it sorted

If you put the shadyness of the whole thing aside......even a gooner has to admit you have got one tasty squad for next season.

Having Tevez at your club is clearly an excellent bit of news for you guys. However, being dragged into the muckyness of this whole shambolic fiasco would make me feel properly dirty.

Obviously we aren't going to do business unless the deal is 100% above board, which is why we didn't take him when offered at the beginning of the season as we were unsure. I think Liverpool's capture of Mascherano has laid down a blueprint that makes this deal possible for us. I for one will be delighted if he signs and i had a sneaky feeling that SAF would go for him after hearing him purr about how he helped the hammers survive relegation.

Loan? I suppose it is better than spending out 25mill on a player who might be banned from the EPL because of these sheff utd idiots!

I'm confused, Magnussons saying one thing, Joorabchian is saying another. Keeping things interesting though, more interesting than your average transfer window atleast.
