Bordeaux Interested In Silvestre

Mikael Silvestre could be on his way out from Old Trafford as Bordeaux reportedly prepare to launch a bid for him.

Unfortunately, virtually all of our defenders are ahead of Mikael in the pecking order - Jonny Evans has got age on his side.

The Frenchman has not featured since our Champions League victory over Lille and is unlikely to hold down a regular spot next season, especially if Heinze is staying.

His former teammate Laurent Blanc, recently appointed manager of Bordeaux is interested in him and I think it would be a good deal for all parties concerned. They would get a good defender, Silvestre could play for a familiar face in his homeland.

I'd be ready to say thanks to Mikael for his eight years at United but he said he wanted to stay so let's see what happens.

Please go so we can keep Heinze

is it wise to let him go? you struggled for defenders last season at times due to injuries. maybe you need strength in depth.
