'If It's Football, It's Vital'

10,500 Back Burton

Nigel Clough's men will be backed by an astonishing 10,500 travelling fans, the biggest away following in recent memory for a match at Old Trafford.

But Sir Alex Ferguson is demanding the Brewers' fairytale is brought to a conclusive end, with the Red Devils the ones booking a fourth-round trip to Wolves.

Ferguson: 'It is great for them. We are great at giving these small clubs a lifeline. I don't know how much they will make out of it, maybe 700,000, the same as Exeter last year.

'But it is beyond a fairytale for us, it is a matter of winning the match and that is what we will be aiming to do, no question about that.'
