Utd Bid for Quagliarella

The agent of Sampdoria star Fabio Quagliarella has today announced that Manchester United have bid £10 million for the striker.

Quagliarella, who scored 13 goals in 35 appearances for the Italian side has seen his reputation soar worldwide, even meriting him a place in the Italy national Squad. Quagliarella`s agent, Silvio Pagliari has admitted that Man Utd have tabled a bid in which they feel is the correct value and that he could join United before the beginning of next season. Speaking to Sky Sports, Pagliari said,

'One month ago, Manchester United made a £10million offer. We believe Fabio is worth between €15 to €20million (£10 to £13million), hence if the English club's offer still stands, he could probably go abroad.'

This comes as a great bit of news for the club, and unlike previous rumours (Anelka, Gudjohnson, Saviola, etc.) this one seems to have a bit of truth behind it, and David Gill has expressed the clubs desire to sign a striker, and though I have not seen much of this fella, what I have seen has been fantastic, for example his two goals against Lithuania in Italy`s last Euro 2008 qualifier.

However, I refuse to get too excited, as we have seen in previous days how some agents do, lets` say, embellish on the truth, ala Ranko Stojic!!!

Bloody hell. he is a bit good
mattweeden
bloody hell its too bloody right the majority of those goals were amazing i especially like the chipped shot. he seems a strong player so he can hold the ball up which is what we need and hes a young player which is very good.
rooneyisgod
He can hold the ball up and as can be seen on you tube he can score a varying type of goals, he gets the tumbs up from me. Being so young his price tag is only gonna increase so we'd be better off signing him now.

The problem with youtube videos is that hardly any of them shows when the player in question has a stinker. You can make a compilation of some great tackles by Titus Bramble or put together a video of Emile Heskey's best goals and these vids would show that they are actually great players - though we all know they are not.
Zae
it would be a struggle to get some good goals from heskey though.

A 30 second long vid maybe :-))
