A Twist In Saha's Case

Despite claims to the contrary, Louis Saha will NOT be out until November.

It seems that I've been a bit rash, concluding that Saha's career at United is over. However, even the Times and Sky have been fooled so I should not be ashamed of anything.

A certain Ranko Stojic claimed Saha would out until November or December following a knee surgery but it transpires that the man has simply nothing to do with Saha's life.

A press release from Stellar Group reads as follows:

- Louis Saha is exclusively contracted to the Stellar Group who advise the player in all football and career-related matters

- Louis Saha has absolutely no ties with Ranko Stojic, who has no authority whatsoever to speak on behalf of the player or his management group

- Louis has successfully undergone knee surgery in America and is now undergoing rehabilitation in the South of France. He hopes and fully expects to be fit for the start of the new season and any claims to the contrary are completely false.

I hope that this news won't be denied hours later. I'm quite glad to hear that he might have a future at us - if he could be ready to play at the start of the new season he could still do a job for us.

If he was out until December he would never regain his place - now he stands a chance, again. Please, Louis, recover for the start of the season and complete a whole campaign without injuries!

A glimmer of hope for a desperate Saha-fan like myself :-)

great news for us having him at the start of the season will be great and lets hope he can put all the injury problems behind him.

Hope for it, yet again. I still fear he'll never put them behind him but at least he can get another chance...

what the bloody hell is going on. good this be a sign that saha has a currupt agent
mattweeden
Thought about it myself mattweeden. Maybe he employed another man Stellar Group does not know of, just to make sure he won't have any problems during his career. Or maybe the man's just a self-promoting git.

great news, still think saha can be one of the greatest if he stays fit!!
united4life
If fit are the key words here. I hope we keep becasue we know how good he can be if he gets on the pitch. his goals against benfica and chelsea were different gravey
mattweeden
Starting to lose my belief about Saha staying fit but we must hope beyond hope he does.
