Tevez Inter Bound?

Tevez Inter Bound?

It would seem that United`s already slim chances of signing Argentinean ace, Carlos Tevez are growing rapidly unlikely by the day.

This is after Inter Milan president today confirmed the clubs desire to sign Tevez, something United have yet to actually do. Speaking to Sky Sports, Moratti revealed the clubs plans regarding the Tevez situation.

'It's true (that we are interested in signing Carlos Tevez); he's a player we like a lot. He has qualities and character. It's what we need.'

As Zae reported earlier in the week, there were Reports emanating from certain sources which suggested that the West Ham man could be the answer to our striker problems, however, after already stating his desire to play for the Italian Champions, this latest news just adds to the speculation that Tevez will choose Inter over Manchester United.

And though the news comes as little surprise, the thought of losing out on a player who has arguably been one of the Premierships best newcomers last season, still leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. However, Tevez`s (likely) decision to move to Italy may be a blessing in disguise, as the amount of legal baggage that comes with the fiery Argentinean is no doubt going to lead to a complicated transfer.

Nonetheless, Tevez is an awesome player, who has already proven he can last it in what many believe to be the best league in the world, and Utd fans can take some comfort in the knowledge that bar a third suitor, Tevez will all but certain be gracing the Old Trafford pitch in the not-so-distant future, be it with United, West-Ham, or with Inter, when they travel to Manchester on 1st August for a Pre-Season Friendly.

As you say I would like him but his agents and "owner" are up in air so I think its best to keep away from him

And rooneyisgod's right, he's too expensive. Lawyers could sort out the ownership issue, that's for sure but we don't need a star now only someone who can offer an alternative.

For the money being mentioned and the legal crap, no, its not worth the hassle, but if a realistic fee could be agreed upon and the legal stuff sorted we could do with him.
