Inter Milan to visit Old Trafford

Italian Champions Inter Milan are set to face Manchester United at Old Trafford in a Pre-Season Friendly after Manchester United confirmed the fixture.

Though the Inter match is the stand-out fixture, 7 other matches have been planned in preparation to the new season including the Community Shield against Chelsea at Wembley, a re-match of the 2006/07 FA Cup Final.

The matches are scheduled as follows:

17 July v Urawa Red Diamonds (A)
20 July v FC Seoul (A)
23 July v Shenzhen Xiangxue Eisiti (A)
1 August v Internazionale (H)
3 August v Doncaster (A)
5 August v Chelsea (Wembley)
8 August v Glentoran (Belfast) - United XI
8 August v Dunfermaline (Edinburgh) - United XI

Lets hope that the 8 fixtures help prepare the team for what promises to be yet another memorable season at Old Trafford.

Could be a cracker - remember our games in the USA in 2003? Great entertainment though little professional preparation. Hopefully it'll be another memorable game.

It will also be good to get a first look at our new signings and enable them to experiance the OT on a matchday
