Did Keano Really Bid For Scholes?

I thought things were not getting any crazier when he had signed Anderson and Nani on the same day but Sun's latest rumour truly amazed me.

First of all, they set Scholes' price at Ł2M whereas I had read a rumour that West Ham would pay Ł4M for Kieran Richardson... it would be interesting if we received more for Richardson than for Scholes.

But really, are the guys at the Sun serious? It wasn't long ago that I had questioned their integrity for printing that United are ready to commit Ł40M on Berbatov - and now they've gone wild again.

Does it have any chance that United would sell Scholes after such a season? No. Does it have any chance that Keano is not aware of this? No, I don't think so. Is Scholes worth more than Ł2M? God, Boulahrouz had commanded a fee of Ł8M!!!

So basically, there's nothing in Sun's article that's remotely in touch with reality. Good one!

well i can see keane wanting him as i think every manager in the world would want him but i bet no one is stupid enough to bid as they know they wont get him.

Yeah, I'd also like to sign him for my pub team - will it be published in the Sun?

Keano's story was a little bit different, I don't know about Giggs or Scholes giving interviews in which they lambast their teammates...

I think Keane wants to sign anyone one thats played for united ever. "Roy I once went on the tour of Old trafford" "Thats good enough for me. I'll sign you"
