Roo: Cup Finals All Over The Place
Wayne Rooney has come up with one of football's prominent clichés: that we need to treat every game as a cup final.
The hero of the Milan game is very optimistic about our chances of picking up silverware but only if the attitude is right.
'You definitely sense when there's a good mood in the dressing room - and the team spirit has been good all season,' he told the Sun.
'It's weird, because there are so many games and they all come around so quickly, you don't really have a lot of time to think about it.
'You finish one game and you're straight into the next one.
'We know that every game now - whatever the competition is it in is like a cup final. It's make or break so we have to keep winning matches.'
Not the most intriguing comments, arent't they? But what else could a footballer say when he's asked about his team chances with some wicked games coming up.
