Carrick Miles Ahead Of The Pack

Carrick Miles Ahead Of The Pack

Our readers reckon Michael Carrick scored the best goals against Roma.

Manchester United produced another thrilling game this week but let's dwell on the past a bit. We look back at our memorable 7-1 victory over Roma as you chose the goals you had liked most.

Michael Carrick's second goal, United's sixth was in a league of its own, collecting 43% of votes. It seems he finally managed to convince everyone of his worth as second place went to his and United's first goal, an exquisite lob over Doni.

I'm a bit surprised the second goal received only 16%, as it was one of the finest moves of this year's Champions League campaign. Ronaldo's first, United's fourth gained 11% and I was absolutely shocked to discover that very few recognised the devastating counter-attack that led to our third goal of the night.

Our next poll is about our injury problems. We'd like to ask you to name the player you're most desperate to see fully fit again. For details, check the poll!
