Verdict On Fletcher

Verdict On Fletcher

Sir Alex Ferguson is convinced it will be another two seasons before Manchester United see the best of Darren Fletcher.

Sir Alex Ferguson: 'Not many young players can battle back from two years out with injury like Darren has done,' said Ferguson.

'Most would fall behind but he has shown such great determination and the great thing is he is only 21 and still maturing.

'I still believe he has a lot of strength to get. He is still a bit gangly and a bit coltish but in two years' time, he will be much stronger.'
