Keano Shows Loyalty

Roy Keane is as honest as ever: among all the speculation about Manchester United, he declared planning to manage them would be an insult from his part.

Our legendary captain's been enjoying tremendous success with Sunderland this season and the Black Cats' rise to the top of the Championship table let to inevitable speculation about Keano taking over at United sooner or later.

However, the Irishman has rubbished suggestions that he looked at Sunderland as a stepping stone.

I don't sit at home at night thinking that one day I want to manage Manchester United,' he said.

'And it is wrong to suggest I see Sunderland as some sort of stepping-stone. I don't think you can think that way. That would be an insult.'
