You Blame The Police!

A convincing 55% of voters reckon it's the police who messed things up in Rome, Seville and Lens.

After scenes of violence took centre stage during English teams' recent European trips, we asked your opinion about the cause of all the troubles.

Unsurprisingly, most of you said it was the police's fault that things went wrong in Rome, Lens and Seville. Second place, with 19% was claimed by those people who believe reasons are never as simple as they look: they said that a variety of factors led to the problems experienced.

Some self-criticism was also there as 14% attributed the troubles to the English fans' behaviour - I assume this number is low because the Italian authorities did not come around to vote.

But move on! Our next question is about Italy again but for a much happier reason. United were playing magnificently on Tuesday night and scored seven wonderful goals. Which was your favourite? See our latest poll!
