Extreme: Ole For Hammers

United's 20legend is targeted by West Ham United, according to reports. Any truth in it?

The News of the World reported that West Ham were keen on the striker. I could even imagine that but why would Ole leave?

To emulate Teddy Sheringham who is still active at the age of 41? I don't know. Footballers of the Sheringham-type are extremely rare and with all his knee injuries I very much doubt Ole would be able to keep on playing much longer. And while Teddy went on to have a good career after leaving United, he was never a regular first-team player at any of his clubs, though he played a very important role at all of them.

I believe Ole will never leave us. This is the club where he became a famous player, where he is a legend. Leaving United for another two years of football? I don't think so.
