United v Sevilla - Early Team News

After the ferocity of a tussle with Liverpool, on Saturday, it`s back to the sophistication of the Champions League this Tuesday evening.

Manchester United will be looking to reach the quarter-finals of the competition when the welcome Sevilla, to Old Trafford.

The tie is perfectly balanced after the first-leg with David de Gea showing his keeping prowess by pulling off some fine saves on his native soil.

With the season reaching its business end, the Champions League is one of two trophies United can still win, the other being the FA Cup.

Can Jose Mourinho guide us to Champions League glory or is the FA Cup the more viable option?

Ahead of the clash with Sevilla, we`ve cobbled together some early team-news.

Starting with Manchester United:

Jose Mourinho will definitely be without the injured members of his squad with Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind and Ander Herrera all watching the action from the stands.

The Special One, who has won this competition with two clubs, FC Porto and Inter Milan, will also be sweating on the availability of two other members of his squad, with the French duo of Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial set for fitness tests.

Continuing with Sevilla:

The Spanish outfit, who have never won a Champions League game on English soil, in four attempts, will be without their influential defender, Sebastien Corchia.

Also, likely to be missing is Jesus Navas, somebody who has played for our near-neighbours, Manchester City, the player is still recovering from injury as is Daniel Carrico.

In what could be a tense night, we`re edging towards a Manchester United victory but who will emerge as the hero of the hour?
