United Linked with Senegalese Defender

The transfer window may be closed but that doesn`t stop, as we`ve mentioned before, transfer speculation appearing in the media.

This morning, one piece of transfer speculation, in the media, is linking Manchester United with the acquisition of yet another central defender.

According to the red-top news source, the Daily Star, Manchester United are amongst a host of clubs looking at acquiring the serives of Kalidou Koulibaly.

Koulibaly, 26 years-of-age, is currently on the books of the Serie A side Napoli.

However, according to our referenced source, a move to the Premier League could be on the cards with Manchester United being one of three clubs mentioned as being interested in the player, with the London duo of Arsenal and Chelsea being the others getting an honourable mention.

As is the norm, we`ll keep an eye out for any further developments on this piece of transfer speculation and report back accordingly.
