Crystal Palace 2 Manchester United 3 - Mourinho`s Views

At 2-0 down, last night, at Selhurst Park, it looked for all the world as if Manchester United were going to slip to a defeat that would have seen their arch-rivals, Liverpool, remain in second-place.

However, despite the battling performance from a Roy Hodgson inspired side that were missing ten of their first-team squad, Manchester United somehow contrived to not only drag the score back to 2-2, but then go on to win the game in dramatic fashion when, in stoppage time, Nemanja Matic crashed home the best goal of the night.

Following the last-gasp win, Jose Mourinho had a few words for the media, with the boss remarking,

'I always believe we can win. I will be like that until my last day.

'You always need that little bit of luck to win a match in the last few minutes. Sometimes the winner is the one who deserves the congratulations but I think Roy Hodgson did everything right.'

I`m not sure at 2-0 down I was convinced Manchester United would win, but then again that`s probably why Jose is a top-notch manager and I`m just an amateur hack!

Now let`s make sure we take the three points on offer against Liverpool this Saturday in what should be an epic encounter between two sides vying for second place.
