Liam Miller - RIP

Liam Miller - RIP

It is with great sadness that we report the tragic death of a player who graced the famous red shirt of Manchester United.

Our former midfielder, Liam Miller, has passed away at the very young age of thirty-six.

Miller, who won twenty-one caps for the Republic of Ireland, has been suffering from cancer and sadly lost his fight against the disease.

During his professional career, Miller played for Celtic, Manchester United, Leeds, Sunderland, Queens Park Rangers and Hibernian.

After leaving the UK, in the latter stages of his career, Miller played for several clubs around the globe, in locations such as the US, Australia and also for his native Cork City.

In summing up the sad news, another Manchester United midfielder, David Beckham, had this to say,

'Our thoughts are with Liam's family. Rest In Peace.'

Thoughts we here, at Vital Manchester United echo.
