United Set to Offer Shaw a New Contract

United Set to Offer Shaw a New Contract

Lurking in the media this morning is something that shows you should never give up your dream.

Not too many months ago it seriously looked as if Luke Shaw was living on borrowed time at Old Trafford.

The left-back, since recovering from an horrific leg fracture, had appeared to have slipped down the pecking order with regards to the starting eleven and had also been the victim of criticism from Jose Mourinho.

In fact, many a football pundit would have put serious money on Shaw leaving in the January transfer window.

But Shaw buckled down, he showed his mettle and in recent games has shown that he is a valued member of the Manchester United squad.

His comeback has been such, the popular red-top news publication, The Mirror, is inferring that instead of leaving the club, Shaw is, instead, set to be offered a new contract.

A remarkable transition in a Manchester United career that appeared to be going nowhere.
