United Close to Sealing Deal for Sanchez

United Close to Sealing Deal for Sanchez

The chase to sign the Chilean forward, Alexis Sanchez, from Arsenal, appears to be heading to a successful conclusion.

According to the respected news source, Telegraph, the 29-year-old is set to put pen-to-paper on a four-and-a-half year contract with the total deal being worth a colossal £180 million.

Elsewhere, another source, the Independent, is reporting that once the deal is complete, then Sanchez will be on a staggering £400,000 a week, a huge figure.

The days when the minimum wage was abolished have certainly, over the space of time, changed the face of football forever, but has it changed for the better or for worse?

Please feel free to leave your opinions on the above statement in the comments facility beneath this article.

Personally, I fear for the future of the game when somebody is able t command such a salary each week!
