United Draw Sevilla in Champions League
After safely navigating their way through the group stages of the Champions League, making the knockout stages for the first time since David Moyes was in charge, United were waiting to see who they`d be paired with this morning.
The last-16 stage of the competition featured, for the first time ever, five English sides which narrowed down who United could be drawn against with the rules stipulating you cannot be drawn against any other side from your country or against any other side in your group.
Although there are no easy sides left in the competition, it`s fair to say that Manchester United supporters will be pleased with whom those making the draw paired them against, with our opponents in the next round being the Spanish side, Sevilla.
Jose Mourinho will not take the La Liga side for granted but, deep down, he`ll be expecting his side t reach the last eight stage, the quarter-finals.
The competition resumes in February 2018.
