United`s Martial on Arsenal`s Wish-List

United`s Martial on Arsenal`s Wish-List

Lurking in the pages of a popular Sunday tabloid publication is the insinuation that one of our current crop of forwards is wanted by another Premier League club.

The Mirror is reporting that Arsenal are looking to make a move for our French striker Anthony Martial.

The speculation is based on the supposition that, despite wanting to hang onto their Chilean striker, Alexis Sanchez, they are fighting a lost cause.

Sanchez, who has indicated he will not sign a new contract at the Emirates Stadium, is wanted by a number of clubs with our neighbours, Manchester City, being amongst the potential suitors.

According to the referenced source, Arsenal view 21-year-old Martial as the idea replacement for the Chilean.

However, it remains to be seen whether Manchester United would consider such a deal, even more so when you consider the rich vein of form that the Frenchman is in at the moment.

Here at Vital Manchester United we`d appreciate your views on the above subject matter, please feel free to leave your opinion in the comments facility beneath this article.
