Fellaini Injured on International Duty
It appears that international football, the bane of the Premier League season, may have resulted in the loss of a valued member of the Manchester United squad.
Reports are coming in that our Belgian midfielder, Marouane Fellaini, has picked up a knee injury.
Last night Belgium, who have already qualified for the 2018 World Cup, were playing a group fixture away to Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Selected to start, it appears that Fellaini lasted just 23 minutes before he was forced to leave the field of play injured.
After the game, which ended in a 4-3 win to the Belgians, the Belgium manager, Roberto Martinez, remarked that he feared Fellaini had suffered knee ligament damage.
If true, it means the 29-year-old could be out injured for a considerable period of time.
Here at Vital Manchester United we`ll keep an eye out for news relating to the situation from the Manchester United medical team.
Fingers crossed it is not as bad as first feared.
