United Interested in Arsenal Midfielder

United Interested in Arsenal Midfielder

Something caught my eye that may prove to be a topic that may interest you.

A piece of transfer speculation, lurking in the news vehicle the Independent suggests that Manchester United are looking towards North London to make a big signing this January.

Our referenced source is of the opinion that Manchester United are set to make a move for Mesut Ozil, of Arsenal.

As you may have read, Ozil is amongst a duo of Arsenal players that have yet to sign new deals with the North London club.

If that continues to be the case then the inference is that Manchester United may try to tempt Arsenal into sale, knowing the player could walk away from the club for nothing, come the summer.

Ozil, on his day, is a wonderfully talented playmaker but the observations made several times are that he can disappear in big games.

If Manchester United can secure his services then, hopefully, Jose Mourinho can give him some guidance on how to be exceptional every game.

But, what is your view on Manchester United`s potential interest in Ozil?

Please feel free to leave your views in our comments facility.
