United Snap Up Huddersfield Youngsters

The recent decision by Huddersfield Town to downgrade their academy facility has seen Manchester United benefit.

Huddersfield decided to scrap teams from U16 level down, meaning that tens of youngster were suddenly released and without a club.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United seized the opportunity to take a look at those available.

Several were invited for trials, by Manchester United, whilst also being given the opportunity to play I behind-closed-doors friendly fixtures.

As a result, 5 talented youngsters were able to put pen-to-paper on deals with Manchester United.

As part of the deal, the youngsters have also been given the option to continue their education in their native Yorkshire or to switch to the Ashton-on-Mersey school which is just a ten-minute drive from Manchester United`s Carrington training facility.

Here at Vital Manchester United we welcome them to our fine club and also wish them well.
