Shaw Gets an Hour Run Out for Reserves

Shaw Gets an Hour Run Out for Reserves

It hasn`t been the best of times for Luke Shaw over the course of the last couple of seasons.

The 22-year-old has had more than his share of bad injuries, including a double fracture of the leg and his latest problem, a broken foot.

However, after missing the opening few matches of the season, Luke is back on the road for a first team squad recall.

Yesterday, having been out for four months, Luke played an hour for Manchester United reserves, with the opposition being Swansea City.

The home game saw the two teams draw 1-1 with Luke looking in good shape.

For the record books, the Manchester United goal was scored by Indy Boonen.

If Luke can avoid any reaction to the injury, we could see the defender back in the first team squad after the forthcoming international break.
